Strata 6 has emerged after reflecting on the last 20-30 years experience, having enjoyed great success in technology and operational roles working within media and telecoms companies.
Collectively, our partners have delivered projects supporting billions in revenue, thousands of staff, millions of customers and decades of operating life.
We have enjoyed the project process from creating the strategic vision, developing a business case, mobilising the resources to deliver and running the business after go live.
We realised there was a gap for a professional services firm that truly understood how deliver sustainable change and was able to deliver with both flexibility and scale to meet the demands of today's high technology businesses.
We recognised the need for a different approach to service delivery and Strata 6 was born.
A Unique Approach
Unlike traditional professional services companies, Strata 6 is led by seasoned operators who have all held senior roles in companies from startups to multinational corporations.
We realised from our operational roles that hiring professional services firms is a good way to scale up and up skill the internal team's capabilities when delivering key strategic projects. However, many of the firms we engaged would move on to new client's project once "go-live" was completed without having to live with the consequences of the way they delivered, leading to quality issues with the ongoing project's performance.

Meet the Team
The twelve partners bring an unrivalled collection of operational experience, track record of success and domain expertise that will achieve our vision of making you successful during and after our engagement.
Lionel has over 30 years experience in operations, programme delivery, technology, consulting and supply chain management. He has held COO roles at Sony, Quadriga and Semantico .
His expertise in driving complex programs, based on experience gained from multiple high value transformation projects across functional boundaries to deliver tangible business value, organisational change and process excellence epitomises the delivery ethics of Strata 6. Lionel also holds a PhD in Semiconductor Physics from Edinburgh University
David has over 30 years experience in technology strategy, solution and programme delivery and has successfully sold two software companies, one as Chairman and one as CEO, and was CTO at Macmillan publishers during the merger with Springer.
Having led both large technology organisations within international media organisations and built scale within entrepreneurial startups, David's combines his expertise in strategy development and technology innovation with his passion for wine making. David holds a PhD in Computer Science from St Andrews University
Andreas has over 20 years experience in delivering strategic/digital transformation programmes in broadcast media organisations including BBC Worldwide.
He skilfully orchestrates large-scale enterprise transformation plans and operations, improving organisational performance across multi-channel business platforms with effective change management strategies and approaches.
Bob was the CTO at Hiscox Insurance when it floated and where he saw revenues grow from £m's to over £bn. As a successful investor, CFO and Chairman Bob has successfully led M&A, strategy and programme delivery projects.
Ben has worked across the entire content supply chain for over 25 years and overseen the complete overhaul from analog to digital distribution at the BBC, ITV, Virgin Media and Sky. Ben has led many of these digital transformation projects and has run global operations and teams as EVP.
Rod has over 20 years experience working in the digital media workspace. He is an expert in the content security and lifecycle management of meta data for digital media. He has been at the forefront of business transformation within the digital content supply chain and has led global operations teams including at ITV and the BBC.
Jianrong has over 30 years in senior technology leadership roles. He was the CTO of Flexbenefits and Semantico, technology director at Informa and Chief Architect at Macmillan. At weekends Jianrong can be found developing machine learning algorithms.
A digital media guru, Kevin has over 20 years experience working in technology leadership, private equity and consulting. Previosly leading the Menlo Park Europe group for PwC, Kevin is a leading expert on digital transformation and innovation. He has also held CTO, consulting and interim roles at Reckitt Bensinger, Waitrose ecommerce and Complete Cover.
Phil is our finance guru. He is the co-owner of MD Hub which helps companies develop from their early stages to large corporations. He has helped companies find growth finance and advised CEO's and shareholder groups on divestment and exits. He has held CFO and CEO roles including at Semantico where he positioned the company for its successful sale.
Over the last 20 years Russell has architected and delivered change, leadership and organisation development programmes for a range of global organisations such as JP Morgan Chase, BP, Rolls Royce, Virgin Media and BBC Worldwide. As an accredited executive and team coach, Russell specialises in accelerating performance gains for leaders and teams during the disruption of digital and organisational transformation.
Daniel has over 25 years’ experience in helping companies to conceive and execute real-world innovation and strategic growth initiatives. He has worked inside large organisations to establish new business units, and lead innovation and projects at organisations including Elsevier, Macmillan, Outsell and Jordan Publishing. He brings together a keen strategic and commercial sense with a deep understanding of digital skills needed to deliver value for a business. He holds a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University.
Rob is a multi-skilled operational leader with over 23 years digital and technology agency experience. As well as leadership roles in operations and strategy he has held senior agency roles in strategy & planning, marketing, sales and user experience in New York, Mumbai and Hong Kong as well as the UK. He has worked with numerous global brands including Virgin, Unilever, P&G and McGraw-Hill.
